You should have 3-5 TSWBAT completed before next class. Tues 2/4	Continue WW2 Lecture: Cartoons and lecture Dunkirk & the Battle of Britain. A little time to work on your project	Extra Credit Movie Options from today's lecture include : Dunkirk, and the Darkest Hour or	Interactively read the Churchill and Coventry, London BlitzWorksheet. After reading both, answer the question in one paragraph. If Churchill knew about the Coventry raid in advance was it the correct decision not to warn the city? If you haven't already, print out and bring to class the Operation Barbarossa Lecture Notes/Political Cartoon Analysis.
Thur 2/6	Lecture/cartoons: Battle of Britain and the War in the Balkans Time to work on your projects		Interactively Read and summarize only the first two pages of 8 key points of the Eastern Front.
Mon 2/10	Lecture:Operation Barbarossa WW2 Turning Points (Stalingrad) Time to work on your team teaching project	Extra credit from today's lecture is to watch The Liberator, or Defiance	Your powerpoint should be done by Wednesday and your key points sheet turned in. The key points sheet should have your group's title and the names of the members on it (along with the material).
Wed 2/12	Lecture: El Alamein (Turning point #2) and Operation Torch Lecture: 'The Soft Underbelly: Italy' Lecture/Video: D-DaySaving Private Ryan) Lecture: Bulge and Superweapons	For WW2 extra credit you may watch the Lord of the Rings and do worksheet. Other Extra Credit Movie Options Include the following. Remember, only one per unit. Click on them for the trailer: Sophie Scholl, Das Boot (The Boat), A Bridge Too Far, the Great Escape, Stalingrad, Patton, Defiance, Downfall, Band of Brothers: Any two episodes (2hrs),Enemy at the Gates	Study for quiz on Totalitarianism and the European War. Again, your notes are the best resource for studying. Interactively read your Dresden packet but do not do a summary of the questions.
Fri 2/14	Dresden DBQ Finish WW2 (Discussion Dresden, Crossing the Rhine----> Remagen, end of Hitler and the 3rd Reich). Time to work on your project	Extra Credit movies for this part of the unit include Empire of the Sun, or John Rabe Don't forget that the book, Unbroken is for extra credit .	Make sure you bring your War in the Pacific Notes to class. Have a nice break. Make sure you're ready to present your 'teach the teacher' presentation when you return. Don't forget to do your debrief if necessary Final Preparation for your Teach the Teacher Presentations
Tues 2/25	Presentations: Teach the Teacher	Consider watching Hacksaw Ridge or John Rabe for extra credit.	Print out, interactively read, and do the questions for the Japan's Textbooks and the Nanjing Massacre
